A clean UI with Interact smart dishwashing program with more advanced features provided with TFT screen.

Overview

The main idea behind this product was to optimize energy and water usage by measuring the soil level of the dishes. There is one program called “Interact” and it decides the wash algorithm and program duration is arranged based on this algorithm.

I led the exploratory user research with PM team to define the program and feature list, designing physical user interface with industrial design team and prototype & testing process with usability testing team. The product was part of the Grundig new family, so I designed the UI based on our 2,4 inch TFT screen UI design language.

A one touch experience as well as some extensive features on TFT screen was combined together to create a flexible interface that serves both smart and manual settings for user.
